Personal Care Aides/Home Attendants

Free Training (if qualified)
Three (3) week training course to become a certified Home Health Aide
Two (2) day transition to become a certified Home Health Aide for a CNAs ("Certified Nurses Aides), nursing assistants or Personal Care Worker.

RNs
RNs to supervise paraprofessional in the field.
RN instructors to teach Home Health Aide/Personal Care Aide training classes.

How shall I apply

If you have the following, bring with you:
- Your license or certification
- A recent (within the last 12 months) physical
- Proof of rubella (German measles) and rubeola (measels) titres or immunization
- Proof of a PPD (tuberculosis test)
- Two forms of identification
- Proof of any other certificates (CPR), inservices, etc.
I have no certificate or training. When can I join classes?
Call us at (516) 931-5850 for an appointment. Come into the office to fill out the necessary paperwork and you will be assigned to classes.
How often do you have training calsses?
Each regional area has monthly traning classes. Call (516) 931-5850 for the start date of the class nearest to you.
